Bob Alconada serves as the Director of Finance & Operations for LABBB Educational Collaborative.  His career has spanned almost 30 years in both the private sector and as a school business administrator, where he has overseen and managed all aspects of financial planning and reporting, budgeting and other business operations.  Prior to joining LABBB, Bob served as Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations at Woburn Public Schools and as the Assistant Executive Director at Shore Educational Collaborative.

Bob graduated Magna Cum Laude from Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and earned his Master's Degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University.  He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Education & Government Association (MEGA) and serves MASBO as a member of the Legislative Committee.

Susan Bottan currently serves as Interim Director of Finance and Operations for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District, following two decades of leadership in districts including Lexington, Reading, and Wayland. A member of the MASBO Board since 2018 and its current President, she holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and an MBA, reflecting a unique blend of educational and fiscal expertise.

She has worked extensively on both the carrier and client sides, providing strategic guidance to large, complex organizations. Today, Deb specializes in advising clients across all aspects of employee benefits, including strategy, data analysis, plan design, funding, implementation, and communications delivering thoughtful, practical solutions grounded in her strong understanding of the public sector.
