Anna Bishop has been the Director of Finance & Operations at the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) for 24 years, bringing extensive expertise in financial management and operational leadership. She holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, is a Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations® (SFO®), and has her MCPPO (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official) designation. Her experience, education, and certifications make Anna an invaluable asset to the LPVEC team.

Kirsteen Patterson has earned a BSBA specializing in Accounting, MBA and Masters of Science in Counterterrorism from Nichols College. Kirsteen has 26 years’ experience in Regional, Vocational Technical Regional and City school systems currently serving as Director of Finance and Operations at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional. Kirsteen is an advocate for Health and Wellness programs within schools and is passionate about School Nutrition and partnering with food services to ensure healthy meals for all students.

Lindsey Albernaz is a Certified Public Accountant, former auditor in the Governmental and Nonprofit public accounting sector and is currently the Business Manager for READS Collaborative located in Middleboro, MA. While starting her career out in public accounting in 2005, Lindsey transitioned into the public education beginning as the joint Director of Business and Finance for the Somerset Public Schools and Somerset Berkley Regional School District in 2014. She joined READS Collaborative in 2019. Lindsey holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in Taxation. She currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.

Sam Rippin has been the School Business Manager for the Peabody Public Schools since 2022. Prior to Peabody, Sam has worked in a similar capacity in five other districts since 2001.
Sam is currently the Immediate Past President of MASBO. He also holds the Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO) from ASBO.
He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Ohio.
He has presented at both MASBO and ASBO conferences on many occasions.

Daniel Gale

Daniel Gale has been in school finance since 2008 and has worked in Worcester, Clinton, Grafton, and now Hudson. He graduated from Bucknell University with a major in Business Mgmt and from Clark University with a Master in Public Administration, and also completed the MASBO licensure program. Daniel is currently on the Board of Directors of MASBO. He enjoys professional development and collaborating with colleagues. When not in the office, he enjoys playing all sports, especially golf, with friends and with his son.

In her role as Director of Business & Finance, Sherry is responsible for managing budget development and maintenance. This includes overseeing various aspects such as building and grounds upkeep, payroll, benefits administration, accounts payable and receivable, as well as the coordination of transportation and food services.

Rob O’Donnell is the Director of School Finance at DESE. The unit that he oversees is responsible for the Chapter 70 program, charter tuition and reimbursement calculations, school choice, the End of Year Report data collection, and the development of related data reports.

Cheryl Loiselle is the School Finance Programs Manager at DESE. She oversees the School Choice program, the Supplemental Low-Income data collection and supports on Chapter 70 and End of Year Reports. She has worked in the School Finance group since 2020. Prior to joining the School Finance team, Cheryl has 8 years of additional experience at DESE in Data Analysis and Reporting, Charter School and School Redesign and Planning and Research offices.
