Has your district/town fallen behind on its MTRS reporting? How can you, the payroll professional, impact and support MTRS reporting? Hear how the Springfield Public Schools' payroll department streamlined their processes to increase accuracy and efficiency of its MTRS reporting. Even if another person/department on the school/town side is primarily responsible for MTRS reporting, payroll professionals in any district size or type can positively affect this process. After the presentation, attendees are invited to share elements of their in-district processes, as well as ask and answer questions of each other to enable additional learning.

David has been the Director of Finance with the Weston Public Schools since July 2025. Prior to joining Weston, he was the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations in the Lexinton Public Schools for six years and the Director of Finance in the Bedford Public Schools for sixteen years. David came to public education after ten years of service in state government and the nonprofit sector. He holds a BA in Government and Economics form Clark University and a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University.
