Since 1994, Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick has held the role of Superintendent Director at BVT. He is dedicated to collaboratively shaping an innovative school system that can serve as a model for reform. BVT extends its services to 13 municipalities. Dr. Fitzpatrick tirelessly works alongside others, focusing on educating various committees including the School Committee, Budget Subcommittee, Capital Planning Committee, Insurance Advisory Committee, Negotiation Subcommittee, Facilities Subcommittee, and Policy, to contribute to the continuous improvement of the educational landscape.

In her role as Director of Business & Finance, Sherry is responsible for managing budget development and maintenance. This includes overseeing various aspects such as building and grounds upkeep, payroll, benefits administration, accounts payable and receivable, as well as the coordination of transportation and food services.

Michael Knight, MBA is the School Business Administrator Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical School District. Michael has worked in the field of school business for 6 years and was credited with implementing cost saving strategies saving over $400,000 annually in his previous school district, Groton-Dunstable Regional. Previous to working in school business Michael worked in technology and construction sales.

Michael’s goal serving as a board member would be to help foster an environment of continuous learning and thought share within MASBO. The greatest strength MASBO has is the membership, there are millions of hours of experience collectively held by the MASBO membership and finding ways to share and memorialize the lessons learned from this experience would be his top priority.

When not crunching budget numbers, Michael enjoys playing golf, hiking with his dog, and watching sports.

She has worked extensively on both the carrier and client sides, providing strategic guidance to large, complex organizations. Today, Deb specializes in advising clients across all aspects of employee benefits, including strategy, data analysis, plan design, funding, implementation, and communications delivering thoughtful, practical solutions grounded in her strong understanding of the public sector.
