10/20/2022 at 5:51 AM (EDT)   |  0 minutes Position Control refers to a system of tracking information based on positions rather than employees. It creates a framework of positions for all the jobs within your district without regard to whether there is an incumbent in a specific job or not. Position control can apply to individual positions with one employee or positions that are a large group (e.g. substitutes). Its primary purpose is to track budget based on timeframe and/or funding source and FTE (headcount).
